1) First in Line

Black Friday 2018. A long line of people wait for a big box store to open. Two women at the very front of the line are cheerfully discussing how it was totally worth leaving Thanksgiving dinner early to get here first. Suddenly, screams erupt from the back of the line. A massacre is underway. We can’t see the killer, just blood and body parts flying in all directions. Shoppers near the carnage scatter but those closer to the front are hesitant to give up their place in line. As the mayhem draws nearer, the two women frantically bang on the glass doors. Inside, a bored employee points at the clock behind him – it’s still five minutes to midnight.
