This track was built around a demo that I recorded back in 2009. Throughout much of that year I was working out dozens of songs for what I already had conceived to be "The Dark Side of the Turd," album. Though many of these demos later got rearranged and multi-tracked, some didn't make the cut, (either because I wasn't happy with them, or as is the case with this song, I simply forgot about them).

I recently unearthed a box of demo tapes from this era and was struck by how much I liked this tune. I decided to do a few synth overdubs to add a bit more texture to the piece, and thus this tune was born.
